この指標は全マイナーがどの程度の頻度でビットコインを取引所に送金しているかを確認するのに役立ちます。マイナーは、定期的にマイニングウォレットから一定量のビットコインを取引所に送ります。マイナーがビットコインを取引所に送る頻度が多ければ、OTC市場ではなく取引所でビットコインを売っているため、価格は弱気に推移する可能性が高いと考えられます。

この指標はビットコインのブロック報酬を受け取ったマイニングウォレットからの送金額の合計です。マイナーは定期的にビットコインを他のウォレットに送金しますが、価格が異常に高い場合は、OTC市場や取引所でビットコインを売却します。マイナーの膨大なアウトフローは、弱気のシグナルとなります。

## BTC: マイナーズ・ポジション・インデックス（MPI; 30日間移動平均）
この指標は全マイナーのアウトフローを1年移動平均で割ったものです。マイナーが過去1年と比較して大量のビットコインを引き出している場合、MPIは上昇し、ビットコイン価格は弱気に推移する傾向にあります。MPIが2.5よりも高いときにラインを引くと、局所もしくは全体の高値と一致することが多いです。一方、MPIが低い場合は、マイナーがビットコインを保有しているため強気となる傾向にあります（マイナーは2018年、2020年の大量売却でHODLersとなりましたが）。
