# Sum Coin Age (SCA)

## Definition

Sum Coin Age ( SCA ) is the sum value of products of coins unspent transaction output alive days and its value.

## Interpretation

Sum Coin Age (SCA) is sum of ‘Alive days’ combining the days of all coins that was in a kept single wallet. SCA has a tendency to increase in value in principle because more BTC is being mined and not all BTC move all the time.

* **Sudden decrease**: Coins that were dormant moved in mass- **Volatility Risk or Possible Trend Reversal**
* **Continuous rise**: the total days of coins alive accumulates 

  Continuous rise in SCA is normal in general but could turn to sell pressure when price begins to rise in sudden.
